This Tuscany wine tour from Florence sees you leave the city in a comfortable air-conditioned minivan, with an English -Speaking driver who will take you into the stunning Chianti Hills. And that’s your first stop, dedicated to discovering the secrets of olive oil production in Tuscany. Olive oil Tuscany is famed throughout the world and you’ll head to a mill on an ancient estate where you’ll have your first tasting of the day.

Go wine tasting in Chianti and learn about the best wines in the world

This trail is not just about olive oil, you’ll also get acquainted with the history of wine and how Tuscans keep the long-lasting traditions of winemaking alive. You will be accompanied by a sommelier who can tell you all about the world of Chianti Wines. Sangiovese, Canaiolo and other prized varieties of grapes are grown in the vineyards here, and you’ll learn more by visiting not one but three wineries, where you will have the chance to tase wines that have won awards internationally for their wines. There will also be a stop for a visit to an iconic village of Chianti.

Enjoy tastings of olive oil and wine and a traditional Tuscan lunch

Make sure that you have a light breakfast before heading out on this tour. Just coffee and cornetto will be enough! That’s because you’ll have tastings at the olive oil factory and the wineries too. Not that you’ll be drinking on an empty stomach as there’s a traditional Tuscan lunch. One thing is for sure - you’ll come back from the Tuscany Wine and Olive Oil Trail with a full stomach!
